Mehboob Kamaloodien
Mehboob is a hands-on businessman. He started his business career selling hardware goods in a humble shop in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town. He grew the business to be the most revenue-earning branch of Campwell Group in less than 10 years. After the group was sold to a JSE listed company, he grew his capital with diversified investments in real estate, resources and manufacturing of wooden products. He also runs a high-end health and beauty chain that has several branches in the Western Cape. He has interests in cement and quarry projects in the North West province. Mehboob founded Kalyana Resources in 2005 and immediately placed it on a growth trajectory.
Rudzani Emmanuel Mudogwa
Rudzani was appointed as a director of Kalyana Resources in 2018. He is also a director of Canyon Coal. Before he joined Canyon Coal and Kalyana, he worked for the Department of Mineral Resources from 2006 to 2010. He had stints at Sekoko Resources and Platreef Resources (Ivanplats) before he joined Canyon Coal in 2012. An expert in environmental management with a Bachelor of Environmental Sciences, Rudzani’s career has covered number of areas in the field including environmental impact assessment, Environmental Scoping report, Mine closure, Evaluation of Environmental Management Programme and Geographical Information Systems with more focus on spatial conflict analysis and resolution.
Pandelani Mugudamani
Pandelani began his career as the assistant director at the Department of Mineral Resources in 2002. He was later appointed Environmental Officer in the same department. After he left the department in 2009, he started his own businesses that include interests in coal mining companies. He was appointed director of Kalyana in 2018.
